Serving the Agricultural and Golf Communities Since 1958
Since 1931 the Foster family's presence has germinated in the Coachella Valley from growing dates to be driving force in the agriculture community.
After World War II Frank returned to the Valley to work for Shell Oil Company and began selling petroleum products, including pesticides to Valley farmers.
Frank started Foster & Gardner in 1958 with Bill Gardner, took over the business entirely in the 70's, and developed the Coachella Valley-based company into the robust and multifaceted company it is today. In 1972 Foster & Gardner purchased the first reactor plant in the West for the manufacturing of liquid fertilizer.
Frank’s six children and many grandchildren have been involved in this growing family business, and continue to operate the company to this day.
